The Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen (born 1965) studied at Århus theatre school and made his film debut in the 1996 film "Pusher" and gained real fame in his home country with his role in "Flickering Lights" (2000). In 2004, he played a major part in the action film "King Arthur" but it was with his performance as Le Chiffre in "Casino Royale" (2006) that he became a household name outside Denmark also. Mkkelsen played Rochefort in "The Three Musketeers" (2011). Mikkelsen has played four characters with eye defects.
