Robert Peter "Robbie" Williams was born on 13 February 1974 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. He became known as a member of the pop group Take That, but found greater commercial success as a solo artist. Williams left the group in 1995 to launch a hugely successful solo career, which saw his first seven albums each reach number one in the UK. Williams married Ayda Field in 2010. In 2012 she gave birth to his daughter Theodora Rose.
