Italian film director Federico Fellini (1920-1993) is known for the film "La Dolce Vita" (1960), which made Anita Ekberg world famous for bathing in the Trevi Fountain in Rome. He went from a more neo-realist style in the 1950s to a more surrea style up through the 1960s and unti his death. Fellini's films are a wonderful combination of dreams, fantasy and joy, largely inspired by the psychologist Carl Jung. He won Academy Awards and was nominated for 12 in his 40-year long career.
