Sylvester Stallone (born 1946) is an American actor. He started his career on the big screen in the early 1970s, where he had minor parts in amongst others Woody Allen's "Bananas". He broke through in 1976 with the film "Rocky" which he wrote himself, and also played the lead role in. The Philadelphia-based story about the boxer Rocky Balboa's fight for the top became a huge success. The "Rambo" series was another hit for Stallone. Other films he has appeared in include the role as Raymond Tango in "Tango and Cash" and "Antz". In his high school yearbook, Stallone was voted "most likely to end up in the electric chair".
