The American actor John Goodman (born 1952) became known as Roseanne's husband in the tv series "Roseanne" which aired 1988-1997. He has also appeared in a host of films, of which no less than five are directed by the Coen brothers. Goodman has a very versatile CV which includes everything from voice roles "Monsters inc. and "The Princess and the Frog" to very serious roles "Storytelling" and "Death Sentence". He also played John Belushi's role in "Blues Brothers 2000" from 1998. Goodman's first job was as a doorman in a night club.
