The American actress Jennifer Connelly was born in New York in 1970. She started her modelling career at the age of 10. The director Sergio Leone spotted her, and hired her for his film "Once Upon a Time in America" from 1984. She continued acting but really broke through in 2000 with the film "Requiem for a Dream", directed by Darren Aronofsky. Two years later she won an Oscar for best female lead in "A Beautiful Mind". This lead to more big roles in Hollywood, such as the one in "The Hulk" (2003), where she plays opposite Eric Bana. She is also one of the voices in the animation "9". from 2009. Connelly is without a doubt a very beautiful woman, and the inspiration behind Jasmin from the Disney film "Aladdin".
