After WW2, Jean Renoir went to India to make a film. What was it called?

Jean Renoir is considered the father of the French new wave, but Renoir already enjoyed his first film success in the 1930s. His film 'Grand Illusion' which is about an escape attempt by POWs during WW1, is seen as one of the most important ever. In 1939, just before WW2, he made another classic called 'The Rules of the Game' (La règle du jeu)which is both a drama and a comedy. After the war he went to India and made the film 'The River', which inspired the Indian film industry and especially the director Satyajit Ray.
