Alex Zülle (born 1968)is a Swiss former professional road bicycle racer. He started his career in 1991 with the legendary Manolo Saiz and his Once-team. Later, he rode for Festina, Banesto, Team Coast and finally Phonak. Zülle never won Tour de France, which was dominated by Miguel Indurain and later Lance Armstrong, but he placed second twice. He also won a total of 9 stages in the Vuelta (plus two overall wins), 3 in the Giro and 2 on the Tour.
