Tony Rominger (born 1961) is a Swiss, former professional road cylict with four victories in big staged races. He won Vuelta a España three years in a row (1992-1994) and Giro d'Italia once (1995). In Tour de France he only managed to challenge the all-domineering Miguel Indurain. In 1993, he not only won the polka dot 'King of the Mountains' jersey, but also came second overall. He retired from the sport in 1997 after having left the Tour de France with a broken collar bone.
