Lance Armstrong (born 1971) is an American former professional cyclist. He started his professional career at Motorola (1992-1996). Armstrong has won Tour de France seven times in the years 1999-2005, a record. Back then, he rode for the team US Postal (later renamed Team Discovery Chanel). In 2009, he made a comeback for the team Astana and placed third. The year after, he rode for his own team, Team RadioShack. In 2011, he stopped his career again. In 2013, he admitted using doping through most of his carrier.
