Laurent Jalabert (born 1968) is a former professional French cyclist with an amazing career. He started out as a sprinter but changed his style after an accident in the 1994-edition of the Tour de France. He then became more of an all-ropund rider and thus suitable as a team captain. He won the polka dot 'King of the Mountains' jersey in Tour de France twice - 2001 and 2002. Jalabert has competed for Toshiba, ONCE and Team CSC.
