New Holland

Explanation

Abel Janszoon Tasman (1603-1659) was a Dutch seafarer and explorer. He is best known for his voyages in 1642 and 1644 where, as the first European, he 'discovered' Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania) and New Zealand.
