He is also the leader of a jazz band, a record producer and a horse breeder. Watts married Shirley Ann Shepherd on 14 October 1964. They have one daughter, Seraphina Watts, born on 18 March 1968. Watts and his wife Shirley owns an Arabian horse stud farm in Dolton, South West of England.
