HISTORY QUESTION #1061

Which nick-name did Adolf Hitler give his life companion, Eva Braun?

Chicken

Explanation

Eva Braun (1912-1945) is chiefly known as Adolf Hitler's life companion. She met Hitler in her native city Munich when she was 17 years old and working as an assistant and model for his personal photographer, who was also the official photographer of the Nazi-party. She started seeing him regularly some two years later. Braun actually attempted to commit suicide early on in their relationship but only succeeded in 1945, when she and Hitler both bit into a capsule of cyanide before the bunker fell to the Russians. Hitler called Eva his "Tschapperl" (chicken).
