Bed bugs are parasitic insects that prefer to feed on human blood. The common bed bugs are 5-6 mm and have no wings. They hide in small creases and come out at night to suck blood. Male bed bugs don't want to get close to the female's genitals. Instead, they use their hypodermic genitalia to pierce the female's abdomen and ejaculate into the female's body cavity. Researchers call it 'traumatic insemination'. Ouch!
