The home of F.C. Barcelona, Camp Nou, is Europe's largest football stadium. Their previous stadium was called Camp de Les Corts. Camp Nou costed 288 mill. pesetas to build and was inaugurated in 1957. The first game played was against Legia Warsaw and the first goal by Eulogio Martinez in the Catalan's 4-2 victory. At the time, the stadium housed 120.000 fans. Since then regulations regarding standing fans have reduced the number to 96.336.
