Which South American head of state was in July 2013 denied to fly over French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese territory and therefore detained at the airport in Vienna for 14 hours, all because the United States suspected that the whistleblower Edward Snowden was on board? Evo Morales

Explanation

Juan Evo Morales Ayma was elected president of Bolivia in 2006. He is the first Native American to head Bolivia since the Spanish conquest some 450 years ago. Besides being president, Morales is also party leader of 'Movimiento al Socialismo' and heads up the coca trade union. His politics are very left-wing and he cooperates e.g. with Venezuela's Hugo Chavez. Morales has never been married but says himself that he is 'married to Bolivia'. He is said to be particularly fond of Coca-Cola, which he serves all guests.
